The SubSurface Instruments PL-9201 Inductive Clamp works with the PL-1500 and PL-2000 utility transmitter sends its signal to power cables, telephone cables or other cables that lack a live, electric current. This signal clamp functions as an adequate alternative to alligator clamps, because it does not connect directly to the utility. Also, it comes with a 16-foot cable with a four-inch opening. The PL-9201 inductive clamp does not interrupt signal and protects the contractor from live utilities.
